Darlon is a member of the Philippines Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) and the integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) Cebu City, having soundly demonstrated expertise in commercial law, taxation, corporate services, employment law, immigration, and intellectual property.
Darlon’s diverse experience includes:
- Associate at SyCip, Salazar, Hernandez and Gatmaitan Law Offices - the largest Philippines law firm.
- Vicsal Development Corporation - a holding company of Metro Gaisano Group of Companies.
- Professional Tax Practitioner with SVG & Co. – a leading Philippines accounting and consulting firm.

Having passed the Patent Agent Qualifying Examination (PAQE) for Non-Chemical group offered by the European Patent Office (EPO), Darlon is PAQE certified to draft patent claims and facilitate filing patent applications to the intellectual Property Office of the Philippines and broader jurisdictions.
